I’ve had a love affair with the Hicks Family since Lee Jofa first introduced the geometric fabrics of David Hicks by Ashley Hicks in 2003. The English father-son innate design genius has inspired interiors and fashion since the 1960s. Ashley has re-ignited the tension of his father’s fearless use of bold pattern and color. To say I’m inspired by these men is a severe understatement. Their patterns haunt me and are a daily reminder to avoid being a comfortable designer.

Also a fine artist, Ashley created the art just for this space.

Note here the use of his pattern on the radiator cover. An interesting design detail versus the conventional use of wood.
