One of the most rewarding feats for an interior designer is to design your own home. It is absolute creative freedom. That being said, if I hadn’t chose this as a career, I would without a doubt hire Daryl Carter. 

In one breath, what I love about Carter’s style is the elegance and casualness by which he uses black and white. There is nothing stuffy about his interiors, yet they air sophistication and grace. Carter’s fearless dedication to the dramatic palette is admirable and he will forever be in my library of interior design muses.
