Walters - Fort Greene, Brooklyn

This past weekend my husband and I wandered into Walter’s second location in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Our late night dinner consisted of raw oysters, a short rib cheeseburger and spiced fisherman’s stew. It was a fantastic meal but what was even more impressive was the cocktail list that seemed to have been written especially for our arrival. Scofflaw, Manhattan, Sazerac… Seriously? MFEO

Not surprisingly, I was also obsessed with the interior design. It’s a great example of how mixing metals of bronze, brushed brass and stainless steel in one space really adds depth and interest. They kept the color scheme simple with white, gray and black, medium wood tones and popped the floors with a damask patterned tile. I could’ve hung out in the restaurant’s cozy, hip atmosphere all night. Oh wait, I did.
